We're looking for volunteers to help us write BDC's History page. If you're a member of BDC that's been around for a while and you've got a good memory, please either post here or PM me. If you have good writing skills and you'd like to help draft or even revise the "BDC History" page's content, also let us know here or by PM. We plan on going over the highs and lows of BDC's past, starting with the beginning and going all the way up to Feb 5th 2009, when we switched forums. The whole thing will probably be around 1000 words so we're not going to go into way too much detail. Also, there will be minimal namedropping in BDC's history page. So like I said, if you have any particularly strong memories of some part of BDC's past, for example Blue Points or the three attempts at making teams, the BDC comic, when the cBox was implemented, the Blah Blah Blah being renamed the Lounge, the "Pool area", the "Pwn Zone", our meetups from way back in the MKDS & ACWW days, the Hall of Fame, the hype for MPH, the Blue Inferno incident, our old rival clans, old banners and highs and lows in activity. And anything else. That last article brings back memories of GaretFire, that f***er. He was our 100th member and he didn't even make a single post. We put him in the newsletter, and automatically bumped him 100 posts (for back when people were crazy about their post count), and he didn't do s***. Bitch. If I had the time, I would do some of it, but I always seem to miss the big events. I will definitely be available for editing. A lot depends on whether I can find a job in the next 2 weeks or so. Also, all old members HAVE to look at the wikipedia article. Holy crap. It almost brings tears to my eyes. If nothing else, it will certainly bring back memories. I read that and nostalgia'd hard. As much as I'd like to help, I don't know how much I could contribute. My memory is starting to fade a little bit.. I remember the very early times pretty well, like the MKDS and ACWW era. |

I would do it but I seem to have forgotten a lot of BDC's major events too. I'll help fill in where I can though. Stuff that I remember in detail: - When Pokemon D/P came out and got really popular for a while - When Akito and Wanton got banned - Blue Inferno Clan - 2009 weekly meetups - more if I think of them |

So, Bacon, what do you think of creating a Google Document (like a Wiki) so that anyone can pitch in even the smallest bits of info in order to create a more complete History? The final version would be permanently hosted here, in one page or several... |

It does, but like Bacon said, it's got a lot of stupid stuff on there, and it would probably be easier to start a Google Doc with info from the wiki than try to clean it up so it looks presentable. |

I believe the first big thing with BDC was leedah posting porn and then claiming it was his brother. That's what got SK to become admin since he helped with that. Don't forget about the clan treaty, Valkyrie/RealGamerDelta and A-Dizzle and Golferwerd |

Before that, bluediamondsaregayfags posted porn all over. Ryu got promoted to admin (from mod) for helping out with that. SK was still a member, I remember because his member group was BDC Writing Staff along with pt and me. |
