I'm actually really amazed there's no discussion on this game yet. BDC was originally founded as a MKDS clan... Anyways, I've picked up the game. If anyone's interested in a race, contact me. If anything, I'm at the Temple of Kraden, if you guys still remember that. I stop by every once in a while. |

A wild RyuKenshin appears! I don't have a 3DS, I keep saying I'm waiting to be convinced, but as I'm not convinced at this point after Mario and Mario Kart and some nice eShop games... Idk if I'll ever be convinced. |

Is the game any good Ryu? Like spas said I don't have a 3DS and idk if MK7 is a good reason to get it. I don't want to go through another MKW experience (f***ing hate the game but I have to play it because it's called Mario Kart). |

It is a sick ass game but I'm still not sure if it's worth it to buy a 3DS for it. Mini turbos are time-spent-sliding based rather than left-right-left-right-based but apparently you can snake to some extent. Characters and tracks, from what I've read, are great. |

The game plays much better then the wii version. Yeah, snaking's out still, and I doubt it will ever return, but the item tables are tweaked a bit. You can get red shells and mushrooms in the top tier ranks now instead of only getting green shells and bananas. The tracks themselves are pretty fun to play, a lot of them pretty much require you to power slide through them, such as Neo Bowswer City and the new Rainbow Road. They brought back the coin system from the SNES Mario Kart, more coins you get the faster your speed. Kart upgrades are also pretty fun to mess with (Though, I never really broke my habit of using the Egg 1). Downsides I've seen so far is blue shells once again make their appearance, but they tweaked them. They run along the ground like they did in the N64 MK, and right before they get to the guy in first it lifts up then crashes down like it does in MKDS. The POW block is gone, thankfully, easily the worst item ever made. Other then that the AI cheats, but big suprise. I'm enjoying things so far. If you can, pick it up. There's plenty of other good 3DS titles out now, Ocarina of Time 3D, Starfox 64 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, Cave Story 3D, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II, and I'm sure there are others that I'm not remembering. Price did drop, it's barely more expensive then a new DS nowadays. |

Also, I'm kinda waiting for the inevitable proper 3DS that doesn't require a boat to sit in for some of the better games, and that will last me a full day of bus commute. Is the Blooper still there? Plz say no T_T |

It's back in the sense that it takes a bit of turn to force the MT, and if you really want to you can go side by side and get the blue burst, but it's not to the same level as MKDS was. Shame. |

Why isn't this topic about ZELDAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'm going to be holding off on the 3DS until around the time I graduate (next May, hopefully) and get a real job. I did drop some obtuse hints to my parents about the Zelda 3DS bundle, but it's not really at the top of my list. As you might have gleaned, right now all of my gaming is dedicated to Skyward Sword, which is amazing. Only reason I haven't finished yet is because of finals. |

Make a topic about Zelda! I have so many games that I want to play over winter break already that I think I'll do the same as you, pt, and pick up a 3DS after the end of next semester. I'm not even sure if I'll have time to play Skyward Sword this winter break between working and playing SC2/Dota2/HumbleBundle4/Terraria/PS3stuff/Skyrim :/ |

I don’t really play on my 3DS that much anymore, so I gave it to my bro... who is obsessed with Mario kart 7 lol. Skyrim and Zelda are amazing so far. Had so many exams so haven’t completed Zelda yet! |
